What these cross pollination effects tell us is that the far right is relatively eager to use transphobic narratives to help ingratiate itself into communities.

In the context of a populist transphobic wave that's really bad news cos it points to an obvious trajectory which will reward fascist groups for being transphobic, and will reward more "normie" transphobes if they take a turn to the out-and-out fascist position

Meanwhile, those transphobes who don't adopt fascist policies will find themselves a little bit more limited in terms of places to grow, as the liberal side of that issue is pretty packed in terms of competing positions.

Old school radfem TERFs, and assorted liberal transphobes will basically lose relative positional strength within the movement, whilst explicitly fascist transphobes will flourish and absorb them, and the overton window of the transphobic movement will shift heavily rightwards

Oh yeah and obviously it will further encourage overlap with qankn shot but that basically goes without saying. This is all kind of roadmapped out so it's basically a matter of mobilising now.

we did an ep on some but not all of this stuff- mainly the role of grifters & conspiracy theorism in propping up & helping to grow the GC movement https://bloodandterf.podbean.com/e/episode-5-cults-qanon-the-girlbaz-grifters/ … insurgent growth of transphobic politics in the US is a different matter tho and we hope 2 touch on it soon

I've been finding all kinds of links between "natural birth", "wellness" etc communities and transphobic conspiracy theories mixed up with other conspiracies like covid denialism. Lot of these people have connections with the upcoming GC protest in DC.

Makes sense because these communities have already been hit with other conspiracy theories and right-wing recruitment. GC feminism is just getting more and more conservative/fash, and full of conspiracy theories and grifters.

Can share some links to what I've found if it'd be interesting/useful. I intend to write about these connections eventually but I have a lot of projects going on and I figure the more people know/understand this stuff the better.

Sure thing! So this is the links page of someone called The Deprogrammer, some GC who makes videos on conspiracy theories about the "trans industry" pedophilia, sex robots and the like. Haven't actually watched any of the videos.https://www.thedeprogrammer.com/resources

She links to Bilek, no surprise there. Also links to several GC yoga mom grifter types, including Courtney Piper (Witch n Bitch) who's one of the organizers of the DC picket.

The person who runs the Whose Body is It? site has a "support group" for those leaving "liberal feminism" for terfry that people can pay to participate in. And Jillian Anderson has a post on her site about the "abortion industry" harvesting fetuses for "eugenicist billionaires".
