Transphobic groups are going to keep protesting at clinics treating trans youth. I'm still figuring out what the best response is but one thing that's important to factor in is their target audience.pic.twitter.com/IXjgrDR7Dz
Humyn-born-humyn passing as a transmasc butch dyke. Former detrans rad fem. Fun fact: radical feminsim does not cure transmasculinity!

I can understand not wanting to give these groups any media coverage, problem is they're going to get it from more conservative media outlets. Here's the Christian Post interviewing members of LGBFightBack and Parents of ROGD Kids.https://web.archive.org/web/20210223203806/https://www.christianpost.com/news/parents-join-lgb-group-to-protest-6-transgender-clinics-across-us.html …
And spreading their conspiracy theories to an audience that's more inclined to believe them. That's what really worries me. They're reaching out to people who already don't trust liberal/mainstream media and are already fairly transphobic.pic.twitter.com/zBg05slLqk
We don't need conservative transphobes to be recruited into an organized transphobia movement rife with antisemitic conspiracy theories. Not when they're targeting clinics and talking about how doctors need to be held accountable
I don't know what to do about this aside from keeping a close eye on this situation as it develops and watching out for signs of escalation. We need more people monitoring the organized transphobia movement because this could get really bad.
