      I know right? But people were stuck on these kinds of theories for decades and there are still people who believe them, psychoanalysts mostly.

          I remember reading those theories back in the day but it really doesn't add up, you'd have to have MANY more trans folks (and gay folks, I've seen this argument used for being gay as well) than there are in reality. Argh
