I am finding some interesting connections between transphobic conspiracy theories and "natural birth", "alternative health", etc subcultures, which tend to be ripe for recruit by other conspiracy theories and far right movements. Also a lot of these people are running scams.

Intend to write up my findings at some point. Among other people who fall into this category would be some of the organizers and promoters of the upcoming march in DC. White privileged yoga mom conspiracy theorists/con artists fighting to "save women's rights" from trans people.

There’s this awesome book, Push Back, scientifically debunking the natural birth movement and highlighting its racist origins. Recommended

Thank you! I'm still learning about these subcultures so book recs are great. From what I've seen so far, not surprised to hear it has racist origins.
