Intend to write up my findings at some point. Among other people who fall into this category would be some of the organizers and promoters of the upcoming march in DC. White privileged yoga mom conspiracy theorists/con artists fighting to "save women's rights" from trans people.

My partner is a midwife and I can confirm that transphobia is a big problem in those spaces. The podcast Conspirituality talks about some of these themes as well, I've found it useful

I've heard about that podcast and have been meaning to check it out.

I find it so difficult that so many of these concepts stem from such valid and good ideas (i.e. focusing on preventing trauma while giving birth, which *is* a huge problem in our extremely medicalized hospital birth settings!) and then wrap some ideological bullshit around it.
-
I'm extremely glad that our midwives were very understanding and supportive of me being trans, and our at-home birth went beautifully. I'm pretty sure I would have been misgendered a whole lot in a hospital setting, which would have made the whole experience a lot more stressful.
