Locked my account because some reactionary gender crits planning that march on DC got mad that I had posted a screenshot from their public FB group indicating they were going to be staying in hotels near the WH. They were threatening to get into touch with law enforcement.

These same people were retweeting the "gender offender map" and pics of the protests that happened at clinics that treat trans kids. They're ok with someone creating a map of clinics that offer trans healthcare and talking about how doctors need to be "held accountable"...

...including naming specific doctors. They're ok with people picketing these clinics. That's fine. But me posting that they're staying in hotels in DC, no addresses of specific hotels, nothing about attacking them, that's "stalking and harassment".

The thing is, I don't even think staging a counter-protest against them would be the most effective response. I think they'd exploit that for propaganda. I've been keeping an eye on them but stopped tweeting much about the march because I don't want them to get attention.

Replying to @reclaimingtrans
If they’re anything like the UK transphobes, they will specifically try to get trans women riled up to make them get into arguments or swear at them, for video “evidence” that they were “attacked” by “violent men”, and generally to doxx as many people as possible.

Yeah, I don't want to play into that shit, especially since these people are actively courting conservatives who already hate trans people and would be eager for an excuse to attack trans women in the name of "defending women".
