I think it *appears* to be an escalation, but gender clinics have been getting death threats for years now. Many providers are threatened constantly, often doxxed.
That doesn't surprise me that people have already been threatened. My concern is that the people making and using this map are believing in increasingly extreme views and conspiracy theories, using more graphic imagery, etc. I don't want things to get worse than they already are.

Having a convinient "find your local clinic" map spread about is imo likely to lead to both an increase in harassment and possibly an escalation to things like clinic pickets.
