You're thinking this could lead to something like the situation for abortion care, where doctors and patients are in danger of violence? I guess I'm glad Planned Parenthood is already doing this. At least they have the institutional knowledge/culture. :/
Yeah, I'm concerned that could happen, though I hope I'm wrong. Some of the transphobic parents I've come across are obsessed and extreme in their views. I've also seen more and more bizarre conspiracy theories popping up in organized transphobia.
At the very least, it's worth monitoring. Some transphobic people and groups have definitely been getting more extreme over time in their views and rhetoric. Worried their actions will follow suit eventually.
