Did some more digging on this Women Picket DC event, found their FB page, they have over a thousand followers and claim to already have over 40 volunteers. https://twitter.com/reclaimingtrans/status/1359618753491853313 …pic.twitter.com/hgHmMxxUDR

The more I find out about this planned march, the more I think people need to keep an eye on this. It has the potential to bring a lot of sketchy people together from different transphobic groups. I don't like what I see brewing in the world of organized transphobia.
Especially when people in many different states are trying to pass laws to keep trans girls out of sports, ban or restrict access to pediatric transition, etc. The references to conspiracy theories is especially troubling because people who believe in that stuff can get violent.
Btw, I found out about this march from checking rad fem tumblr. Twenty-something rad fems were promoting it on their blogs.
Related to this: one of the endorsements comes from Partners for Ethical Care (PEC). Alix, who works closely with Erin Brewer on PEC, crowdsourced an international map of gender clinics and offices of specific providers. It’s still growing. This is serious.pic.twitter.com/c7jrXR36ru
Many clinics are for family planning or other forms of reproductive care. The same kinds of offices that have been historically targeted for anti-abortion protests & even bombings. Networking with the Right using crossover hashtags puts both trans people & cis women at risk.
