Right-wing Christians will also take quotes from detrans blogs and videos. Happened to me a few times. I was one of 6 detrans people quoted (nonconsensually) in book written by a conservative Catholic from the Heritage Foundation. It fucking sucked.
Even a lot of transphobic detrans people don't like it when right-wing Christians use their material. Obviously some of them willingly collaborate but offering compassion when right-wingers nonconsensually use detrans media is one way trans people could show solidarity.

I also don't think many transphobic detrans women understand how much their ideology can feed into Christian "conversion therapy". Both groups think trauma can make people trans, use words like "disidentify", etc. Saying lesbians are more prone to develop gender dysphoria...
...can easily be used to reinforce the idea that lesbians are mentally ill and suffering from a disordered gender identity. Much of what rad fem detrans women believe actually aligns with "conversion therapy" theories rather than challenging them, so easy for the Right to co-opt.
