I've come across a few gender crits/rad fems saying I must never have been a "real" radical feminist otherwise it would've worked for me, I'd know I was a woman etc. Lol! No, I'm still a radical feminist, I just think your version of "radical feminism" is hateful bullshit.
Some of these people really can't wrap their heads around the fact that someone could believe in their ideology for years and then leave it. It can't be the ideology that's wrong, so there must be something wrong with the person leaving. Gee, wonder why people call you a cult?
I'm not crazy about framing gender crits as a cult because I think that can oversimplify things but when they act like this, I can't really blame people for seeing this kind of behavior as culty.
