Yeah, me too. It sketched me out when I first heard about it and then I gave it a try when I was a rad fem and found out it was even worse than I thought. Now I think it's one of the most dangerous things to come out of feminism since it can feed into right-wing bullshit.
Right? To my ear, it's so grounded in just trying to invert, but stay invested in these "women on a pedestal" varieties of justifications for patriarchy. The weird sacredness it charges AFAB people with living up to, to me sounds...nunnish. I hear no liberation there.
