So many people are willing to believe theories about trans people that have little evidence to back them up. Like the idea that transmasculine people transition due to internalized misogyny, where's the proof aside from testimonials of detrans women, many of whom are rad fems?

Being honest it's something I worry about re "ex TERF" people, that almost every single one has reasons their needs weren't being met in those spaces and it's really not for trans folks to try to recruit them (even if they want to sign up) into some new movement to put that pain.

(no offence intended by that, but I feel like I should say it out loud because exploitation of people's pain is something that can actually be quite easy)

It's cool. I appreciate you being concerned about that and it's a good thing to watch out for. I try to check in with myself a lot to make sure I'm not putting myself out there in way that's going to end up hurting me.
