In detrans communities, you have people giving testimonials about "alternative treatments" for dysphoria but a lot of these detrans people are very ideological. Some online groups for detrans people don't allow people to recommend or support anything "trans affirming".

Reminds me a lot of how supplements, homeopathy etc. look "good" because we don't have data on their efficacy or side effects but we do know the precise limits of allopathic medicine

What's kinds of treatments are there for detrans besides therapy? What kind of therapy is used for detrans? Genuinely curious, hope that since this is text on a screen, that the questions didn't come across hostile

Detrans people come up with a lot of things on their own to cope but there has been no research into what will help people who are detransitioning, not what kind of therapy works best, nothing. Peer support groups can help but most that are out there are very ideological.
