I used to feel unfairly attacked too when I was detrans. A lot of these detrans women really believe that they're victims of trans people. But they need to examine their own actions and motivations and ask themselves if trans people have a good reason for pushing back.

It's not like trans people can't be cruel and unfair to detrans people. That happens and it's a problem. But parts of the detrans community have a huge transphobia problem. The detrans women's community was founded on transphobic ideology.

I don't want to hear how mean trans people are to detrans people when I know how a lot of detrans women view trans people, how many have no inclination to work with trans people as equals. They don't see trans people as equals, they see them as delusional and possibly dangerous.

If you take a hostile, condescending stance towards a group of people you can expect to be met with resistance. If you want respect you better treat people with respect. Trans people aren't being unreasonable when they push back against transphobic detrans people.

How much energy have detrans people wasted attacking trans people that could've gone into building resoruces for detrans people? Transphobia is a blight on both communities. What lasting benefit did I gain from going after trans people as a detrans woman? Jack fucking shit.

Promoting transphobic ideology and politics didn't improve my life nor help the cause of women's liberation. I wasted years of my life thinking I was radical when I was really just promoting ignorance and hatred. Now I can't keep quiet about the harms of my old community.
