Many detrans people talk about their experiences to be informative or help other detrans people feel less alone. That was one reason I spoke out. I wanted to support other detrans women, I wasn't just out to recruit.

I want people to know more about detrans subcultures that are invested in transphobic ideologies but I don't want people to get overly paranoid about detrans people in general. Again, lots of detrans people are trans-friendly and just trying to get on with their lives.

Even in the detrans community I belonged to, not everyone was into running "psy-ops". There was a smaller group within the community into organzing and figuring out how to exert influence. Most people were just looking for support and trying to figure their own shit out.
