Transphobic/gender crit parents used to use my detrans story to argue their points. Never liked that but I don't know if I pushed back hard enough at the time. It's upsetting to think about now.

Yes, I have and I find it very troubling. I've watched gender critical parents and therapists get increasingly organized and influential over the years. That's why I think trying to create resources for the trans youth they're targeting is so important.
