36 GB/4 hrs, 9GB/hr=150MB/minute, 2.5MB/second=20mbps. 416KB/frame assuming 60FPS. Netflix 4K HDR recommends 25mbps. Not sure if this helps anything. But felt like doing the math. Not unheard of and not really surprised. That’s not a huge amount of data in my feelings

Netflix can use less bandwidth as it’s not real time. They can do multiple passes and achieve more compression versus a live broadcast which only gets one pass.
