Google provides the best search engine, but they shouldn’t make money off of it? I get that they are making the distinction between organic and ad blurry, but even my 75 year old mom knows that the first 3 results are ads.

This is why I am using
@DuckDuckGo instead. -
DuckDuckGo does the exact same thing! And ads are even harder to scan for because the word "Ad" comes after the link text instead of before.

There should be a law bill that all online ads should have a standardized yellow "Ad" disclaimer in it

Honest q: as a searcher, why do I care if I’m clicking on an ad or an organic link if the information on the other end is what I’m looking for?
-
Because replacing actual search with ads increases the cost of getting customers to your site which has to be paid for somehow. So product prices go up just to stay even for all companies (but Google).
