This was literally my mom when her appendix ruptured. o_o I was 17 and had to drag her to the hospital because she was convinced it was "not all that bad" but IT WAS HER DANG APPENDIX?!
YEP. One of my friends literally didn't go to the hospital until she was in intense pain, vomiting, and almost passing out. When they got her there they had to rush her into emergency surgery bc turns out her appendix had ruptured, caused sepsis, and her organs were shutting down
they were like why??? did you wait so long??? and she was like cramps man if she had waited another day she would have died LOL
Ahhh, your poor friend! That's so scary. I'm glad both our loved ones are okay. 
i have endometriosis, so deal with agonizing pain pretty much constantly. this winter, i had a cough that didn’t go away. it was slightly annoying. finally went to the dr. she was like, “ummm, you have PNEUMONIA.” me: oh. i guess i’m good at tuning out pain.
I had severe endometriosis all thru my teens. Constant pain. No one listened. At 21, a doc finally listened and did an exploratory surgery. Turned out I also had PID, had total hysterectomy. Next day the surgeon said "we don't understand why you're not dead."
i’m so sorry. endometriosis is hell on earth. glad it was finally caught, even though it’s malpractice women’s pain isn’t taken seriously. it should have been addressed the first time you brought it up.
This was a long time ago. I was also anorexic but no one ever addressed that, because I didn't "look that thin." You could see every rib and vertebrae, front and back. You could see my heart beat! But I had heavy legs, so...
Omg,I went through two days of extreme stomach pain with my parents convinced it was cramps,despite my rarely having them so not sure why they thought that anyway. I got to the point that I literally couldn't move without it hurting. Appendicitis with some fun gangrene mixed in.

I know, it was so...a lot. I was with my cousin the night I went home and she used to push me to stay longer, I told her I needed to go home. I went to the hospital the next day, had I waited it probably would've ruptured and I seriously would have died.
