Twitter friends, I have a new website! Please enjoy a more perusable portfolio and the eternally awkward experience of reading someone speaking about herself in the third person

This is rubbish news and totally indicative of a misreading of the state of play in women’s football. Yes it’s growing, yes there’s potential, but no, there’s no massive sponsorship being pumped in across the board. Gutted for and the team

  3. Insanely proud of the inimitable who was highly commended in this category. She is one of the most talented journalists I’ve ever met and she’s only just getting started ⭐️

“I still have to remember to predict Crystal Palace’s formation before I get in the taxi to the stadium so the driver will believe that, yes, I will be reporting on the match, even though I am wearing dangly earrings.” So good . Spot. On.

Our investigation into , one of the UK's biggest marriage sites, & how it's accused of allowing discrimination against so-called untouchables. Glad to shine light on issue that's bizarrely under-addressed w ,

This is definitely a thing. I remember once watching a Utd game with some ‘new friends’ and one of the guys insisting I did a players quiz to see what I knew. I have NEVER seen my male friends have to do the same to prove they enjoy the game

“Women are free to chat about sport, but only after they have named 45 Premier League left-backs and provided their mothers’ maiden names.” nails it on this week’s skin crawling debate about women and office sports banter. 😂❤️🔥

Excellent piece. I was having to explain to taxi drivers that, yes, I did like football, otherwise I probably wouldn’t be choosing to report on it as a job, way back in the ‘90’s. You’d have thought they’d have got the message by now.

As ever, brilliant from . Women are more than capable of joining in the office 'chat' on football - and they don't need to name 45 Premier League left-backs to prove it. Nice reference to the IT crowd too.

  15. My two cents on sports banter in the office: women can join in, but only after they have named 45 Premier League left-backs and their mothers’ maiden names

  17. Loved this piece- “Perhaps we choose running because we don’t need permission to do it — we can do it whenever and however we want. The roads are open. And behind those 511 women who qualified are hundreds of others, like me, who transformed ourselves trying.”

  18. On the train back to London after a loooong day of work. Just stopped at Stevenage and I’m so desperate for bed I just gazed longingly out the window and thought: maybe I’ll just get off at Stevenage. Maybe I’ll find a bed, maybe I‘ll make a life here
