The top rifle (first picture) is an AR-15. Bottom rifle is an M-14. Both have an identical rate of fire. Both can use high-capacity magazines. The AR shoots the little bullet. The M-14 the bigger one. The only one considered an “assault weapon” is the AR. So...pic.twitter.com/rE5AqiqfSE
In Canada, no matter what type of gun a civilian owns, it must be modified to ensure it can never hold more than three shells/bullets. If you can’t bag a moose without a machine gun, stay out of the woods.
Can the other one be modified to become automatic?
Yes. Not as easily.
So ban them all. No one needs more than 3 consecutive shots for hunting. Unless you’re hunting people in a crowd.
