    So following my opening statement thank you for all your messages of support & solidarity. Appreciated I look forward to finally giving my evidence in Tranche 3 scheduled 2023. Till then stay safe and don't let the clowns get you down!

    I am told that this secret hearing today re judicial review of how Sir John Mitting is running as its chairman was not brought on behalf of victims of political , but by former themselves. Helps explain why it was held behind closed doors.

    So finally having read all the opening statements & learnt from the various NSNPCP'S legal representatives that allegedly I was an Agent Provocateur whilst deployed undercover encouraging others to commit crime, allegedly I had a great supportive wife & I am now deemed..

    Basically reading this, it's abundantly clear that if the does not provide the necessary closure, it's then down to the individual to 'put the big boy pants on' just like I had to & offer to personally meet, apologise& explain themselves to all those affected

    Interesting observation and thread from yesterday's

    The summary of 'Stewart Goodman's evidence ignores that he was drink driving after attending a Lambeth IS meeting and crashed his unmarked police car into a tree. His bosses pulled strings & he was prob fined in his cover name. No formal disciplinary action either.

    We need truth not speculation This officer, whom I knew, is now dead so cannot defend herself nor her reputation. It is only 'alleged' by person unknown that she had a relationship in 1968 with a prominent VSC campaigner, who might be dead now too!

    Undercover officer accused of having sex with activist in 1968 during first operation to infiltrate campaigners. If true, it would mean spycops had sexual relationships with activists they were tasked with monitoring for nearly half a century.

    OMG it looks like I won't be giving my evidence till at least 2023 now!! Hadn't planned on a liquid lunch down the pub but seriously needs must!

    Barr: The pandemic is slowing the whole process - classified documents can't be worked on at home. We expect the Tranche 2 ( from 1983-92) hearings will happen in the first half of 2022, Tranche 3 (1993-2007) in the first half of 2023.

    5yrs old today & a decision to agree with! "A striking feature of the submissions by MPS, DL & NSCP is the only issue upon which they agree is the hearings should be further delayed. This is not acceptable to me The terms of reference require I report ASAP"

    Personally looking forward to 'one day' finally or should that now be hopefully giving my evidence in Public on what I also know about this particular issue too. Meanwhile we must wait & wait etc etc

    There's little doubt lifelong campaigner & direct activist was monitored by . The says over 1,000 political groups were spied on but refuse to say if OutRage!, the Gay Liberation Front or others are on the list.

    Except obviously for all the and their managers who have been already granted 'Total Anonymity' and therefore will be subject to zero Public access, scrutiny nor indeed accountability.

    The inquiry ruled "those whose conduct is under scrutiny and who are required to account for it publicly must do so in a manner which the public can observe..." Otherwise, the inquiry would be become "a set of semi-secret proceedings"

    Anybody else got the dreadful sinking feeling that the 5 years 'ball kicked into the long grass game' has just turned itself into 'the ball hit out of the park and possibly lost forever game'!

    Just to say, after 9+ very, very long years, for Personal reasons, I am now taking an extended break from the Universe/Saga. Hope to be back up and running again, when the Evidential Hearings actually begin, whenever that might finally be, if indeed they ever do!
