@wanderview do you know if Fx 57 did any changes to iframe behaviours? I'm seeing weird issues -- document.write() in onload breaks some scripts written. Navigating back in Fennec navigates iframe instead, but iframe didn't have any navigations, only document.write.

I thought http://document.open (replace) was removed from the spec and the browsers and it always should be replaced. At least it was everywhere until Firefox 57.

In Gecko, http://document.open has "always" (going on almost 20 years) created a new session history entry and allowed back/forward navigation across the open() call.

Certainly when there is a difference between Firefox on Desktop and Firefox on Android -- something is wrong.
