Is there any way I can tell a browser not to update the rendering/layout of an element while I asynchronously recompute it? @bz_moz @ie_dev
@FremyCompany @ie_dev Ah. Yeah, you could display:none the relevant subtree while computing, but that has its own issues.

@bz_moz @ie_dev That means that if I want to solve this, I should resort to the "pinned style" hack. I may, at some point, but it's "meh". -
