Anyone know why/when firefox throws "Value does not implement interface Node" for doing `HTMLElement.prototype.clear = function(){}` ?

@kuvos@DavidBruant Assigning to .clear on its own should not trigger any exceptions... unless some spec defines a .clear property.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@bz_moz@DavidBruant .clear wasnt the problem. Our rewrite system underwater eventually tried to read object.ownerDocument for something.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes

@kuvos @DavidBruant Ah. That should throw per spec, and throws in IE9+ as well. Firefox 24 will have a much better exception here.
