There is no bug filed that I know of, but I dont follow the nighlty builds. Simple requests are not rejected in any other browser version, including Firefox official releases.https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS#Simple_requests …

Sure, and I wouldn't expect them to be in nightly either. We certainly have automated tests for this stuff and they're passing. Which is why it would be good to understand what's different in the case you're looking at. Ideally before this ends up as a problem in release.

So any pointer at steps to reproduce would be much appreciated.

Sorry about the delay, needed to confirm it: users are reporting the incorrect cors rejection on FF nighlty (at least on MacOS) on this tool: https://novack.itch.io/google-sheets-for-unity … Please follow the steps, let me know if you need anything.

Finally got a chance to look. On Mac, on FF nightly, loaded the page, clicked the "Run tool" button. Not seeing obvious CORS rejections. Seeing various errors about third-party cookies and third-party indexeddb access and whatnot, but nothing about CORS.

Are there steps other than clicking the "Run tool" button to follow?

If I try to put in a public spreadsheet URL, I get 'TypeError: can't access property "style", document.getElementById(...) is null'

Thank you for checking. You can ignore the dom issues. But once you provide the spreadsheet id, try some operation like creating a table. Results were like the picture. Not sure how fast changes are introduced on nightly, this was 13 days ago.pic.twitter.com/GqgY8aAFjv

I do see "File could not be found." in both Firefox and other browsers, with my spreadsheet link. Should I be using a different spreadsheet? If so, which one?

I'm not going to be able to look at this after today (Mar. 13). Please do file a bug at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home with steps to reproduce the problem so someone else can look into it!
