Sure, if you can see what string came out the other end. USVString replaces unpaired surrogates with the replacement char, whereas DOMString just passes them through.

I've been thinking about related things recently, wondering about how much idlharness could catch for us. Basically the problem is finding non-side-effecting and non-throwing invocations that you can then mutate with test data. Seems really hard to solve generally.
