A Vietnam vet when returning home I could not ware my uniform to airport because I would be spit on. I fought for our flag, burn jail time
Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag - if they do, there must be consequences - perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!

Thank you I appreciate your words.When I return from Vietnam. When I finish processing at Oakland CA I had to spend the night before getting flight home next morning. The taxi driver told me I shouldn’t wear my uniform to airport I would be spit on,times have changed for the good

My brother was told the same thing. He changed into civvies in the bathroom at the airport. He was never the same after serving; and the nasty reception upon coming home didn’t help. Thank God more people have learned to appreciate the service of our military. God Bless you.
