Numerous states introducing Bible Literacy classes, giving students the option of studying the Bible. Starting to make a turn back? Great!

This is not the job of Public Schools. That’s why churches are built and given tax exempt status, which in some cases is offensive considering their politicization. Our children should not be indoctrinated.

I see nothing wrong with an elective class on the Bible. So much of our society is based on stuff in that book. Knowing the Bible can help ppl understand a lot about human culture
But if a "turn back" means it would ever be required? Nope. Don't go there. Freedom of Religion
Tons of evidence of God, dear. It’s all around you. Bless you.

I said evolution has no evidence, and yes the Big Bang too.. no one was around during those times to speak about it. It takes some ideas and faith to believe in it. That is a religion.

Perhaps they could read James 2: 6-7 (NIV): "Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?"

It’s not 15th century. It’s just a class. And students can decide if they want to take it and learn scripture. How does freedom of choice bother you? No one is forcing them to take it.
