Then what was your point? This follow up about the Ted talk doesn’t follow. If we agree with you about the “postmodern fantasy” of transforming Afghanistan, do you think that we should have left a long time ago? Do you think we should ever have invaded?
And complaining the amount spent on “gender programs”—you’re innumerate and sexist. $1B represents 0.04% of all the money the US spent there. And considering that supporting women’s rights was one of the main justification being there from the start, does that sound too much?
