Banning something that was never actually taught. Cool. But you did agree with the social construction of race with @marclamonthill and I applaud teachers who will continue to teach race history in opposition to parents who think it’s CRT.
If it was "never actually taught," you shouldn't have a problem with banning it. 
It’s “never actually taught,” or “just teaching kids about racism/history,” depending on if it’s raining or what day or the week it is.
No problem banning little DEI race games and “privilege walks”, but people are diving deep into the origin of race and exactly what it is and what it was designed to do in this country. As long as we agree that’s not CRT, I’m cool.
First of all, it is a waste of time that school boards could be spending on things that actually matter. Second, some of the bans are not actually about critical race theory, but in part are about the teaching of actual history and valid historical interpretation.
I’m not familiar with that district. I’m curious why the board felt this action was necessary.
