Not exactly a blue state but a blue metropolis
Definitely a blue state—hasn't had a Republican governor since 1980, longest of any state in the Union.
Has a lot to do with how many people reside in the metropolis. One aspect doesn’t define something or I can quote no state income tax and it’s game over. Not a big deal, just isn’t at all a deep blue state. Purple, sure.
