I wasn't involved directly in this effort at all.
Parents have been making their voices heard at school board meetings, sign-waving for anti-CRT school board candidates, and promoting their message on social media.
And the board voted 5-0 to ban CRT.
Can only hope that we see something similar start to happen in Ontario.

Even though you were not involved, you certainly got the ball rolling. Amazed by what you have accomplished. And to see this happen in a blue state -- fantastic!
That is awesome. More parents need to be involved or we risk losing our kids to these maniacs. Hate breeders and division seekers. Why would anyone want to live so negatively? Life is a journey, meant to be shared with others. No matter the color of their skin.

Neither statement is true. First, there was no Critical Race Theory to ban. What was banned was not Critical Race Theory. Second, the “movement” is an astroturf one. It’s not organic. @johnavlon @mmfa
This is extremely sad to hear. If people actually understood what CRT was, no one would ban it- banning crt is essentially banning critical thought, which is supposed to be key to a functioning democracy.
