Never said "it's [only] addiction." Always have cited evidence, including large-scale studies based on HMIS data.
I am sure *you know and have studied more than that* and I have seen other pieces by @TuckerCarlson that take a broader view. That said, that interview- from your Facebook page- caught my eye. And it is not dissimilar from arguments made to me by others.
Incidentally “others” include one of my closest friends from high school, whose frustration with San Francisco visits led to the entire genesis of the study coming out
