The problem with this is that it comes off as awfully manipulative, whether or not that was intended. And "critical race theory" was the wrong term, because it means something technical that allows the opposition to deflect from the underlying arguments.
I don't apologize at all for getting into the arena. My work has inspired a presidential order and state legislation that has now protected millions of children from state-sanctioned racism. There will be spectators, fence-sitters, and critics; I will be out on the battlefield.
Pithy sloganeering about nuanced issues is cynical and dishonest. You're unapologetically deceiving the public.

Just keep it up, man. If your critics are correct, the courts will sort it out. In the meantime you're giving parents some tools to seek immediate relief and pushback on what they didn't realize want just a localized problem

Exactly. For example, the "Nike" brand might bring to mind "makes running shoes for Olympians" but also "uses sweatshops". Effective activists will promote the branding that best helps their cause.
