Hey @DavidAFrench, @kmele, and @thomaschattwill, we filed the civil rights lawsuit. Now we just sit back for a few years and let public schools, which have the power of state coercion, tell children that their "whiteness" is the devil?
Is that the principled position here?

Do we need legislative action? Why do we not teach that aliens built the pyramids? Can't we just have the same measures in place for BS social theories?

I think that when it comes to children and proceed with caution. The burden should be on teachers to explain why these types of books should be read and then have an open debate and vote.

Yes, parents need to clean up their own schoolboards or take their children elsewhere. I'm sure you realize this thing is unbannable because of how it can shapeshift. The cost is constant vigilance.

Federal lawsuits move slower than childhood.

SOME federal lawsuits. "My kid is being told her race is guilty and she should feel guilt for her race by her third grade teacher" -> preliminary date June 2028 "Trump called me a mean name on the Twitter" -> nationwide injunction within 10 hours

I’m what you could call a “centrist” and I absolutely do not oppose legislative action and I’d imagine many centrists feel the same. This is not a free speech issue

I just don't buy your conclusion that CRT is taught widespread. I'm sure it's a great message for building election cash but this isn't the rule of thumb across the thousands of public school districts in the nation. Painting public school employees as THE ENEMY is destructive.
