I would strongly oppose the teaching, but I wouldn't support a law attempting to ban it, especially if such a law were overly broad and vague.

Related: was that ever, in fact, banned by law? My understanding is curriculum like that has existed. I'm not entirely sure how its removal went. Did legislatures step in for it? If there are such laws it supports your position. If there aren't it supports a counterargument.
