BREAKING: The nation's largest teachers union has approved a plan to promote critical race theory in all 50 states and 14,000 local school districts. The argument that "critical race theory isn't in K-12 schools" is officially dead.pic.twitter.com/BMRDoAK0sA

The union has also approved funding for "increasing the implementation" of CRT in K-12 curricula and for attacking conservative groups who oppose CRT indoctrination. The teachers union has made critical race theory its #1 priority—and want to implement it nationwide.pic.twitter.com/QaeTBouTf2

According to a recent YouGov survey, 58 percent of Americans oppose critical race theory, including 72 percent of independents who believe teaching it in schools is "bad for America." But the teachers union wants to double-down and impose this divisive ideology on your children.

The NEA represents 3 million public school employees in all 50 states. They have a $350 million annual budget and an army of operatives in 14,000 local communities. They have now declared war on parents who oppose critical race theory—and parents must fight back!

As someone who studied theory in depth in graduate school, count me in the 72 percent.

If 58% oppose CRT then I can see why they would need funding to fight that 58%. Seem like the few want their way despite the majority. This is not democracy. This is an act of fascism no mater what ones views are on CRT.

I'd like to hear your explanation on how it is divisive. It is a very important for students to understand the history of structural inequality and racism. Understanding does not divide, it mends.

What does “critical race therapy“ teach or promote? Did the people answering the poll know?

If so many people oppose it, how did it pass or get this far? The troubling fact is even if people oppose it, they wont stop it, and it'll get pushed through anyways

Hence the increasing support for funding students instead of schools so all parents can choose to go to charter or private schools that offer curriculum better suited. This movement has been around for awhile, but never had the support I’ve seen in the last few years.
