CA, WA, OR, and IL have all passed state legislation mandating CRT principles into the state curricula and teacher training programs. It's certainly legitimate for TX, OK, TN, and FL to *prohibit* this. That's the nature of democratic control and federalism.

I don't think "CRT-based curriculum" is anywhere close to rigidly defined enough that banning it actually accomplishes what you want to accomplish.

I don't believe the average school board member even knows what CRT is. Again. The problem is curriculum based on social justice ideology, which is MUCH easier to define, and way more broad in scope.

I like your work Chris, but think Robbie has a good point here: "Foes of critical race theory should spend their time more productively by working to ban racial discrimination in schools." (as opposed to targeting curriculums.).

Racial discrimination in public schools has been banned since 1964. We have a new problem; we need new laws.
