And why can't it be banned? You would oppose a state law to ban K-12 schools from teaching Holocaust denial, eugenics, and Klan ideology?
Lastly, do you think public schools are a "marketplace of ideas" and publicly-employed kindergarten teachers have a "right to free speech"? Do you think "just have parents file federal civil rights lawsuits" is realistic and fair, rather than putting the burden on the schools?

The "marketplace of ideas" analogy in K-12 is a red herring. The concern about "banning" is that it is too overbroad and non-specific, leading to censorship on subject matter that isn't necessarily CRT.
