In fairness he could be called the same thing. Not that I mind. I prefer that journalists not feign objectivity on controversial cultural issues.
I am a politically-engaged writer. I have a point of view and a political goal and I pursue it, openly and honestly. I don't pretend to be a neutral journalist working for a network news organization.
