If you're worried about the North Carolina bill chilling speech that ought to have a place in k through 12 classrooms, what's your best hypothetical about a specific thing that could be problematically targeted, given this text https://www.ncleg.gov/Sessions/2021/Bills/House/PDF/H324v4.pdf …

I'm rereading this now and it strikes me as one of the strongest of the state bills—clearly lays out the rationale, defines the restriction, and makes a distinction between "teaching about" and "promoting."

The "is this CRT?" question is a language game; no term will capture it perfectly, but CRT is the most accurate of all the options. And the concepts line up pretty tightly with CRT concepts and how they're applied in the classroom/trainings.https://christopherrufo.com/crt-briefing-book/ …

You literally admitted your intent to weaponize the term CRT for propaganda value, and have the gall to accuse others of playing language games? Why not name the specific notions you disagree with and explain why they are wrong and inappropriate for a classroom?pic.twitter.com/dmsHsyMluN

I think you should focus on challenging racism, rather than CRT. I believe CRT is racist, but CRT-ers don't (in part, because they change the meaning of words to suit their agenda), so let them prove it by showing how they can teach CRT without racism.
