Why not use Obama to engage Obama? His beautiful speech, ‘A More Perfect Union’ is an incredible rejoinder to certain teachings of CRT. If you want to win a culture war you must engage the culture & Obama saying this isn’t proof that you’re winning. The opposite, I’m afraid.
Sure, there are points where I agree with Obama, but his defense of critical race theory suggests weakness. He could defend CRT on the merits, but he doesn't; he tried to deflect and shift blame. Even Obama, student of CRT, will not defend CRT. That is significant!

He spent his presidency undermining core tenants of CRT. It was in his absence that it rose to prominence. Not fair to call him a student. Much more of a sell out.

I would agree. Didn't he in the recent past make a plea to abandon 'wokeness' for the betterment of the country? He knows not only what it is, but I do think, where it leads. It's disappointing that he is posturing like this.
