How does one defund a union whose revenue is drawn mostly from membership dues and fees? Or are teachers' unions different from private sector unions and other public sector unions?
Make them opt-in (rather than automatic or opt-out), stop automatic payroll deduction (and have them collect dues like any other org), limit organizations that receive large amounts of public funding from lobbying in state legislatures, etc.
