How does one defund a union whose revenue is drawn mostly from membership dues and fees? Or are teachers' unions different from private sector unions and other public sector unions?

Please clarify exactly what the bans do and don’t do. In an confused by the general conflation of CRT and systemic racism and can genuinely not tell what you want banned and what you are ok with? Perhaps put out a worksheet of concrete examples of what is ok and what is not ok?

The history of our country includes atrocities & ugliness. I was taught all of that. America has also achieved so much good since its founding, including battling racial injustices. The WHOLE of it—good, bad, & the blessings of FREEDOM & OPPORTUNITY—should be taught. Always.

You’re most likely lying or you were in one of the few places where it was taught. The average student categorically was not taught about the Tulsa Massacre, for instance. Hell, Columbus was taught almost completely as a good dude throughout my school grades in the 90’s.

If they would teach Charles Darwin some more( and people get more knowledge about evolution and species and races) instead of critical race theory it would be very helpful for people to get a realistic view of reality.
