If there is a state requirement in place that forces all public schools to teach a particular ideological program, then, by all means, the gloves are off and I would support state bans against these programs because by default the battle can only now be fought at the state level.

Of course a state-required "ethnic studies" curriculum doesn't necessarily have to be a CRT-derived program of indoctrination, although I suspect in most cases it probably is going to be exactly that.
