I think I've found the right question to distill where I disagree with @realchrisrufo but let's see:

The problem is that many schools are not teaching contextually with multiple perspectives. They are saying "you are an oppressor, your are oppressed," and peddling fringe racial theories as official dogma. This is anathema to liberal education—and a violation of conscience.

I would be delighted to discuss with you,
@thomaschattwill, and@glukianoff. I admire all three of you, even when we disagree. But my suspicion is that, if we were to have a discussion, you'd find that we agree more than you think! - Show replies

Yes. I plan to teach my own kids about critical race theory, because I want them to know it is out there. I will also tell them why I think it is dangerously wrong, but they should read the stuff straight from the horse's mouth.

(I live in a red state in a school district that voted for Trump by probably about 20 points, so I don't think CRT is about to become official dogma here).

Conor—there are no schools that do this, as Chris is implying. The kids don’t have the reading level to read any of those texts, especially not in public high schools. CRT is taught as reductive gospel, not as theory to be interrogated…https://twitter.com/RadCentrism/status/1370818303938101249 …

And - just checking - public schools also should not be able to compel children to believe CRT is wrong, correct? Or indoctrinate children against CRT.
