Do you think it's academic habits, intelligence differences or both? I tend to think it's intelligence differences. I worry about globalization and cheap labor. My husband remotely managed an engineer team from India for a well known US Tractor company.

He had many frustrating moments dealing with time zone and cultural inefficiency. But the company kept increasing the cheaper workforce. It's the way of the future.

I think this is a pleasant side effect for them, keeps the funding flowing. But the main goal is to gain greater control over admissions so they can bring people in with the right opinions - advantaging a specific type of thought. Ppl with high SAT scores can be problematic.
