I agree but the main argument here is that there are plenty of textbooks that aren't skewing toward truth. So wanted to know what you thought of that argument.

Unfotunately, a lot of what is happening now isn't aiming for truth, it's now trying to overcompensate the other way. For example, the way to combat racism, isn't by a different type of racism—like CRT.

Truth (knowledge) is defined and upheld by our institutions which happen to be heavily biased towards those in power (historically and presently rich whites)

When you say it should, that's like saying there should be no homeless or we should all be happy, true in fairy tales but the reality is that is not how things work. History is skewed to a mostly white, colonial narrative. .
